Табір розділений на п’ять підтаборів у вікових групах: від 3-6 років, 6-12 років, 12-17 років, 18-35 років, 35 років та старші.

Celebrating 60 years of Ukrainian Youth in Australia
Where: “Sokil” – Plast Ukrainian Scouts campsite,
near Winchelsea in the heart of the Otway National Park.
When: 26 December 2007 – 3 January 2008
All Ukrainian youth are invited—there is a place for
everyone! The camp comprises five sub-camps,
which cater for all age-groups:
3-6 year olds, 6-12 year olds, 12-17 year olds,
18-35ish year olds, parents, seniors and 35+.

In detail
Tabir Molodi is a camp for all Ukrainian Youth from around Australia. The last national camp of this kind was in the summer of 1998-99 at SUM’s property “Karpaty” in Buxton.
This Camp will be at Sokil, on Victoria’s south western coast.
It starts on the 26th and ends on the 3rd. It is anticipated
that the 26th and the 3rd are travel days for those coming interstate, so the opening ceremony is scheduled for the evening of the 26th and the closing for the morning of the
3rd January. We expect that local Victorian campers will
arrive just before or just after lunch on that first day and
stay on the last day to help clean up.
The following is some basic information about the camp.
The camp comprises five sub camps:
- For 3-6 year olds (sumeniata/ptasheniata).
Komendant Natalia Duma (Melbourne SUM).
- For 6-12 year olds (molodshe yunatstvo/novatstvo). Komendant Pavlo Buczma (Melbourne Plast)
- For 12-17 year olds (starshe yunatstvo/yunatstvo). Komendant Symon Kohut (Melbourne Plast).
- For 18-35 year olds (druzhynyky/starshi plastuny). Komendant Stepan Duma (Sydney SUM)
- For parents and over 35s (“Tativka”).

- The overall camp Komendant is Peter Duma
(Melbourne SUM).
SUM and Plast are Australia’s main Ukrainian youth organisations, established here when Ukrainians first arrived in 1947-48 and actively working since then to promote our Ukrainian cultural heritage, leadership and personal development. While SUM and Plast are the main organisers, the camp is open to all kids of Ukrainian heritage throughout Australia.

This combined camp celebrates 60 years of Ukrainian youth in Australia, reflecting on our mutual history and building for the future. We are expecting 400 participants across the whole camp.
